Diploma in HUMAN FIGURE DRAWING

DRAWING & ANATOMY

  • If you’ve ever wanted to master the art of drawing the human body, this is your chance.

Our Human Figure Drawing diploma is a deep dive into the timeless skill of observational drawing — with a strong focus on anatomy, proportion, and the expressive potential of the human figure. Spanning 6 months and 144 contact hours, this course is designed to help you develop precision, discipline, and creativity through structured practice and expert instruction.

You’ll engage with techniques like gestural drawing, live model studies, and anatomical sketches — all grounded in the belief that a strong grasp of traditional skills is essential before breaking into experimentation. Whether your interests lie in visual arts, design, medical illustration, or media production, this course gives you a foundation that’s both rigorous and relevant.

So sharpen those pencils — and let’s get sketching.

  • Throughout the course, you will be exploring core concepts like:

    • Proportion, gesture, anatomy, and skeletal structure

    • Drawing techniques like hatching, stippling, and shading

    • Spatial awareness, perspective, and composition

    • Expressive and stylized figure drawing

    • Light, shadow, and the physics of perception

    • Observational studies through live models and reference work

Every module includes both classwork and assignments. You’ll also visit galleries, reflect on contemporary figurative work, and participate in peer critiques.

Your final deliverable? A group exhibition of 6–8 original pieces, complete with process portfolios, sketchbooks, and an artist statement, presented at professional standards.

  • Just bring your curiosity, commitment, and willingness to observe closely and draw consistently.

How is it different From Basic Diploma in Interior Design?

So you're curious about the differences between the Basic Diploma in Interior Design and Décor and the Advanced Diploma? Well, let's break it down!

It's like baking, you see. Milk, self-raising flour and water are the basic ingredients for bread, but the same ingredients can also be used to create a flaky, crispy croissant. Similar, but definitely not the same thing.

In interior design, just like in baking, you can't change the foundation. You'll still be learning about lighting, elements of design, and color theory. However, the perspectives and treatments will be different.

The Advanced Diploma focuses on multi-function spaces and commercial spaces. Within residential spaces, you'll be designing a multi-function kitchen. And as for commercial/business spaces, you'll be creating designs for boutiques or even workspaces/offices.

So, while the basics may be the same, the Advanced Diploma will take you to new heights with its focus on commercial spaces and multi-functional design.
